Maldron Hotel & Leisure Centre, Oranmore Galway

We had a spacious family room, and the kids loved the pool! Breakfast was good with plenty of freshly cooked options, though the food took a bit long to arrive at dinner. Would stay again!

i had reasonably priced room with an excellent view. the location turned out to be marvellous and lovely, short walk to the restaurant up the road, and salthill. cafe costa coffee located 1 mi away was a nice surprise.

I was traveling Europe alone with my two teenage daughters. We ended up in Galway as my oldest daughter was doing a study abroad program for the summer. When I booked this hotel I thought it was across from the apartment my daughter would be staying in. Upon arrival and being very carsick from a bus ride from the airport we learned that there are two Maldren hotels and ours was the one out of town. The very friendly front desk girl name Susan came to our rescue. With a lot of effort and working things out with her manager she was able to get our reservation switched to this hotel versus the one out of town which made our experience 100% better. I will forever be grateful for the extra effort I will forever be grateful for the extra effort they showed us.

The hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Galway, and my kids enjoyed the pool and the cinema across the road. Aisling at the front desk was friendly was good.

In my wife's opinion, dinner reservations should be taken to avoid inconvenience for families.

Couple looking for comfort

We were checked in and out by a friendly girl, she gave us all the information we needed about stay and the kids club. The family room was clean, bright, and spacious, a big hit for the kids who enjoyed the pool and nearby cinema.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but still, acceptable.

Got a very good breakfast served. Room was newly remodelled and well-organised the food was fine, 4 stars. The hotel has good location right by Maldron Oranmore, a lesser known site called Aillwee Cave, and the bar / bistro.

The maldron is a great spot for families, with a lovely leisure center that includes a heated 20m swimming pool. Especially the attentive service from hakimi. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which really added to the experience.

Well-maintained place, it was immaculately clean and had so efficient staff with the amazing service from the staff. The location was comfortable and ideal, on a roundabout!
